Boat rental Amsterdam

Amsterdam's canals are probably the best known navigable canals in the Netherlands. And who doesn't want to sail in Amsterdam? A boat trip on the Amsterdam canals also has almost something magical about it. Amsterdam is not entirely without modesty sometimes called the Venice of the North. Perhaps that is why a much wider sailing area, stretching from the Oranjesluizen to the harbours of IJmuiden, has been in the shade for a long time. In particular, the demand for homes close to the city has contributed to the transformation of the remains of the old Amsterdam harbours into residential areas with interesting architecture. Of course this interesting spectacle can be admired from the water, in short, come and sail in Amsterdam.

A boat trip in Amsterdam can consist of seeing quays, warehouses, cranes, bridges, modern architecture from both residential and working locations to an ultramodern container terminal. The locks in Amsterdam are also an attraction in themselves. Concrete locations are the Oranjesluizen, the Oostelijk havengebied, the Oostelijke handelskade, the Jan Schaeferbrug, Nemo and the Scheepvaartmuseum.
