Nova Cura

The skûtsje Nova Cura is a 1908 built sailing cargo ship that is in almost original condition. The skûtsje is equipped with a spacious deckhouse and a cargo space. In the cabin you will find a simple and very cozy seating area and galley. There is also a toilet on board. Furthermore, the skûtsje is equipped with beautiful brown sails and looks neat. There are nine fasting berths on board and possibly several temporary berths can be created.

Possibilities: The Nova Cura is very suitable for a day- or weekend trip with friends, family, colleagues or fellow students. The skûtsje is suitable for a group of 12 persons. In consultation with the skipper you determine the route that takes you over beautiful lakes, canals and atmospheric villages and towns. An active attitude of the guests is necessary to keep the wind in the sails and to ensure a safe return. This cooperation certainly benefits the team spirit and creates a good atmosphere on board. The home port is Sneek, this is an ideal starting point for your sailing trip. Sneek has many nice restaurants and nightlife. In consultation it is possible to spend the night on board after the sailing trip, so that you can enjoy the nightlife without worries.

Catering: To give your sailing trip an extra representative or festive character, drinks and food can be provided on board, or in an attractive restaurant on the water. Possibilities are: - reception with coffee, tea and frieze pastries - a sandwich-lunch on board - lunch in a cozy restaurant - drinks and snacks on board (including herring and Beerenburg) - a captains-dinner or barbeque as a festive closing of the day. In consultation with you, it will be a perfectly arranged day that your guests will remember for a long time.
